It is hoped to keep these rides going throughout the next few months. The route will depend very much on the weather conditions, but will always include a cuppa stop, and will be in the region of 20 miles Always meeting at All Terrain, Saltaire at 10:30am on the 2nd and 4th (and 5th if there is one) Wednesday, They could be towpath rides in either direction or an exploration of some of the quieter roads and greenways in the area. Ideal as confidence boosters and keeping the legs going during the colder weather, you'll be raring to go come spring! Please dress appropriately. Several thin layers are best and a rain jacket could come in handy. The towpath can get muddy after rain, so please bear this in mind when choosing what to wear for the ride. It’s a good idea to bring some water, a snack to keep you going and money for when we stop at the cafe. Wearing a helmet is advisable; if you don’t have one please do not to worry you can still take part. If you enjoy the bike ride and would like to come again perhaps you could look to buy one then. We really welcome newcomers to our rides; we will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. All you need is a roadworthy bike, sensible clothing and a bit of enthusiasm. It helps to have a spare inner tube of the correct size - just in case. My number on the day is :- 07940 975 971 I look forward to you joining us.
