https://ridewithgps.com/routes/35695133- You can easily get to Chesham by Chiltern Rail or Metropolitan Line e.g. Met Line departs Harrow on the Hill at 10:10, arriving Chesham 10:44 (passing through Pinner, Northwood, Rickmansworth, Chorleywood, C&L, etc).
- If you are unsure of the way I can meet you at the station if you message me beforehand.
- If you are driving to the start, the Water Meadow Carpark normally costs £2.50 for 4hrs but all Bucks council car parks are free until 11 May. And parking is always free at Chesham Open Air Pool HP5 1SF.
- There are some sharp ascents and descents, so you need to be a competent cyclist, but we will take the hills at our own pace and regroup at the top. Nobody will get left behind.
- Please bring the usual (inner tube(s), snack, water, etc). I would prefer you to wear a helmet for your own safety.
- Please check your bike thoroughly before you come. Check your brakes are working well, your gears are smooth and your tyres are in good condition and pumped up – you can use this video.
