Breeze Beyond the Met Line: Great Missenden to Hartwell

- We will ride on lovely country lanes with pretty views, out along the Rignall Rd, over Longdown Hill, through Cadsden, Askett, Kimblewick, Marsh, Bishopstone to Hartwell Garden Centre, via this route https://ridewithgps.com/routes/36286862 and return via North Lee, Butlers Cross and Chequers this way https://ridewithgps.com/routes/36286893
- There are some sharp ascents and descents, so you need to be a competent cyclist, but we will take the hills at our own pace and regroup at the top. Nobody will get left behind.
- If you are driving to the start, the Link Road Carpark costs £2.50 for 4hrs. You can park for free on residential roads north of the town centre like Rignall Road and cycle to the start.
- Please usual cycling stuff (inner tubes, pump, etc). I would prefer you to wear a helmet for your safety.
- Hartwell Garden Centre has lovely cakes and savoury food. It will probably be too cold to sit outside, next to the bike racks, so bring a “cafe lock”.
- There are 2 car parks in Link Road. If you are in a car park and can’t see any toilets then you need to cross the road to the car park on the north side of the road.
