Breeze and Recyke y'bikes leisurely ride to Lanchester

Come and join Breeze and Recyke y’bike as we go for a leisurely ride along the Lanchester Valley Railway Path.

Starting from Broompark picnic site car park we will be following the old railway line (NCN 17) to Lanchester for a hot drink and food at Lanchester Community Café and then returning following the same route.


IMPORTANT STUFF…..

• PLEASE DRESS APPROPRIATELY FOR THE COLD WEATHER

• On this route we will be cycling over a variety of different terrains including quiet roads, cycle paths, shared paths, old Waggonways, therefore, this ride is only suitable for Hybrids and Mountain bikes.

• You should pay particular attention to your bike being in good working order before attending a ride so as to minimise risks and disruption to rides.

• Be organised and bring your own items e.g.
- Spare inner tube
- Tyre levers and pump
- Multi tool
- Lock
- Bike lights
- Gloves
- Drink
- Snacks
- Suitable clothing,
- Helmets are recommended, but not mandatory.
