Bracken Circuit Scone Run

An approx 30 mile round trip from Beverley out to Hutton Cranswick Garden Centre for the best scones in East Yorkshire! Once we are over the roundabout at Molescroft, it's onto the cycle path towards Cherry Burton. Then we are on quiet roads all the way. Turning right and left in Etton to go round the church, we parallel the main street on a tiny lane, before turning right and plunging down and up into South Dalton. Turning right to go around the duck pond we cross the busy Malton road with care and wind our way up to Bracken. Up and east along a lane with big views sweeping out north and tempting us to keep going up towards Huggate... but not today! Down to the Garden Centre for a well earned cuppa and scones. The route back loops on tiny back lanes through Lockington and rejoins the outward route near South Dalton. All in all a delightful little circuit with a few little up and downs and some lovely views.
