Cross country in the Yorkshire Dales with 930m total ascent. Moorland and woodland tracks and bridleways, a steep ascent and technical descent of Embsay Crag, some linking tarmac sections. Overall grade given in guidebook is black (grade encompasses any technical sections, distance, ascent and terrain encountered).
