Billy Bob's Parlour with a loop around Embsay

Join us for a ride over to Bolton Abbey - Halton East with a loop around Embsay and stop for ice cream at Billy Bob's Parlour

Choice of starting at Menston (35.8 miles) or Ilkley Lido (21 miles)

We head through High Royds popping out by the station onto A65, from here its down Bradford road into Otley, turning left onto West Busk lane to end and use the underpass coming out on Ilkley road, we take a left at Beech Hill car park and follow path coming out on Bridge street, here its left over the river and up Billams Hill then left onto Weston lane and Askwith, Ilkley and the lido for a pick up, then usual way to Bolton Abbey via Nesfield and Beamsley, at Tea on the Green we turn left for the climb up to Halton East, we will pass Billy Bob's for a loop around Embsay then on the return turn left into their drive and have our coffee stop

Our return route takes us back to Ilkley and A65 back to Burley in Wharfedale, we will use the underpass to avoid the roundabout, coming out on West Terrace along Main street and pick the A65 up again at the roundabout, heading up the hill we turn right onto Menston Old Lane and back up to our start point


There is an option to return to Menston by train from Ilkley or Ben Rhydding (every 10-20 mins) if you want a shorter ride but want to experience a ride to Bolton Abbey
