Bexley & Greenwich Guided Ride - The World Reimagined globes Camden & Westminster

We will ride up to Westminster via C10, crossing the river at Waterloo Bridge. The World Reimagined art trail will start in Covent Garden. We will follow 8 of the globes along a path of learning and discovery that will take us up through Covent Garden, Bloomsbury and Camden where the trail ends. We will return along the C6 over Blackfriars Bridge, picking up the C14 and C10 back. There will be a lunch stop in Coal Drops Yard but do bring your own snack and drink to keep you going until then.There is the option of returning by train from Blackfriars if needed.
The World Reimagined looks at Africa before and during the Transatlantic Trade in Enslaved Africans. It moves on to abolition, agency and emancipation. It touches on the Windrush Generation and how slavery still lives with us now. It also celebrates the many great Black leaders in fields from business to activism, and sport to the arts.
