Bethel by bike

This route starts at Moelyci to follow the Lón Ogwen cycle path to Glasinfryn, then takes up some of my favourite quiet lanes towards Pentir, but then crosses the Nant Y Garth road to reach the A4244 briefly before then turning right to follow back roads to Bethel. We ride back through Bethel (20mph makes it a lot nicer!) before turning right towards Llanrug, but then taking Lon Cae Meta towards Dinas Dinorwig (a gentle manageable climb), crossing the A4244 again at Pentir, and rejoining more back roads before finally joining the Lon Lás cycle track back to Moelyci.

This is my current favourite loop (NOTE: GPX file may be from home!!). It's along mainly quiet lanes and has some gentle climbs and a bit longer than my usual easy evening rides.

Some cycle track, mainly back roads, small portions on A roads with 2 right turns, which we'll manage.

Bring money in case you want to spend ar Moelycu Cafe/ shop at the end!

Please check your bike before arriving, checking that the tyres are pumped, and brakes in working order. Bring a spare inner tube in case of puncture, and bring your helmet. Please bring something to drink along the way and clothes suitable for whatever weather we have! Please check back on the ride to make sure there are no cancellations due to high winds etc!
