Join Nicola and Liz for a fun day out at one of our local mountain bike trail centres. This ride is ideal for newby mountain bikers wanting to get a taste of trail center riding. This is a mountain bike route and only mountain bikes with off road tyres are suitable. We will ride the blue route which is suitable for beginners the route is about 5 miles long however there are sections that can be repeated for fun and there is a skills loop to play on. For anyone who is keen there will also be the option to attempt sections of the red route as well. The length of the ride is therefore not fixed and people can simply do the blue then stop at that point or add on extras if they want, we will circle back to the car park at that point. There are toilets at the car park and there is a cafe, the carpark is pay and display. There are also options for walks in the forest and a nearby reservoir if riders only wanting a short ride want to make the most of their visit.
