Beginners Breeze

**Please do not sign up / attend this ride if you have symptoms of covid-19, are unwell in any way, if you have been asked to self isolate, or if you live with anyone who has symptoms**

** Please also check that your Let's Ride profile contains your full contact details, so that we can follow the guidelines in the Welsh Government ‘Trace, Test and Protect’ programme should anyone who is on the ride subsequently become aware of Covid19 symptoms.

We will ride through Llandaff fields and join the Taff Trail. We will follow the river up through Hailey Park and up to Radyr Weir. We will have a short break by the weir before heading back down towards Bute Park. We will do a lap of the park before heading back to Pedal Power.

First timers are welcome on this lovely traffic free route in parks and on the Taff Trail.

Ideal for those new to cycling or who want to try a group ride for the first time, but more experienced cyclists also welcome. Entirely traffic free ride through parks and on cycle paths.

We will have a stop to catch our breath at the Radyr Weir before we head back and will stop at a cafe in Bute Park (weather dependent)

Bring your bike or contact Pedal Power (https://www.cardiffpedalpower.org/locations-and-opening-times) to hire one. Or you could use a Next Bike (nearest hire stations are Sophia Gardens or by Café Castan). Clothing appropriate for the weather, a helmet and a safe bike are all you need.
