A friendly, supportive women’s ride for those who can already ride a bike and want to improve their confidence, enjoy steady social cycling, and explore local routes in a small and friendly group.

The route involves cycling along the Rea Valley route, which involves sharing cycle paths and towpaths with pedestrians. There are some short distances along hard-surfaced canals and on roads.

The plan is to stop for refreshments at Cannon Hill Park.

• Kings Norton Park / Rea Valley routes: Hybrid or mountain bikes with wider tyres recommended (towpath, mixed surfaces, possible mud). • Maximum of 6 riders • Helmets are compulsory • Please ensure your bike is roadworthy and that you can make your own way home if you have a mechanical issue. • Please bring a spare inner tube and/or puncture repair kit so you can repair your own puncture if needed. • Bring water, appropriate clothing, and any medication you may need.

First-timers welcome!
