Starting point

London
SW1A 2EX

We will start at Upton Court Park from our usual starting place, we will ride up to Slough Station and catch a TFL train (09:47) to Paddington See photo from times from other stations using the same train.

From the concourse exit at Paddington we will then take a 20 minute ride through Hyde Park, over Hyde Park Corner and down Constitution Hill to enter the freecycle route at Buckingham Palace.

The 2022 RideLondon FreeCycle route passes some of central London’s most famous locations, from Pall Mall and St Paul’s Cathedral to Southbank and Somerset House. This is the first time in the event’s history that the course will cross over to the south of the Thames, so there is plenty for participants to feast their eyes on as they ride.

The route will also feature four special Festival Zones at Lincoln’s Inn Fields, Waterloo Place, Guildhall Yard and St Paul’s Churchyard and Paternoster Square. Here, riders can pause to enjoy a wealth of fun, free-of-charge activities designed to celebrate cycling and inspire more people from all backgrounds to get on their bikes!

I estimate that we catch a return train back to Slough from Paddington around 3pm, let ride leaders know if you need to return earlier.

You can register for freecycle yourself as well as this ride, there is more information and a free tabard when you register using the link below
