Baslow, Chatsworth House, Monsal Head - Circular

Shortly after leaving Baslow, we join a gravel track that leads to a magnificent view of Chatsworth House. We cycle around the estate before heading to Beeley and then to Rowsley. Here, we join a series of wonderful gravel trails that eventually lead us to the Monsal Trail. After a short distance, we leave the trail and pass through the picturesque villages of Great Longstone and Little Longstone, eventually arriving at Monsal Head, where we can enjoy the magnificent views. We then follow the road down through Cressbrook and climb up, eventually arriving at our café stop in Litton Village.

After refreshments, we soon descend into the beautifully quaint village of Tideswell, followed by Wheston and Little Hucklow. We enjoy far-reaching vistas as we pass through the villages of Windmill and Foolow, eventually reaching the historic village of Eyam. We then enjoy a thrilling descent into Froggatt, later passing through Curbar and eventually returning to Baslow.
