Awayday to Lincoln

A lovely gentle route through the Lincolnshire countryside with views of the river Trent from the the Fledborough viaduct and a fabulous ride beside the canal into the heart of Lincoln.

An almost traffic free route along an old railway line into the heart of Lincoln returning the same way.

There is a short stretch of quiet country roads before we join the Sustrans route 647 along the old railway line from Fledborough into the heart of Lincoln

We will stop for photographs and lunch/refreshments either at the river basin in Lincoln or the Pyewipe Inn before returning to Cobb’s Country Store.

Helmets are recommended and you should bring a spare inner tube and any tools required to change it in case of a puncture.
