Autumn East - A ride across the Marshes

If your fairly confident on your bike and want to broaden your cycling experience, this leisurely ride is for you. This is a traffic free ride, starting at the View Tube Cafe (toilets and bike hire available) we enjoy the spectacular views of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park from the sightseeing platform from where you can see the 2012 Games stadium. We leave the View Tube to cross the Park taking the sights, including the Acceleror Orbital Tower, the London Aquatic centre and the Lee Valle VeloPark with its iconic Velodrome. We leave the Park to cycle across the famous Hackney Marshes to Walthamstow Marshes cycling through the beautiful wooded area to take in the wonderful autumn colours. We cross the bridge to Springfield Marina were we'll stop for a short break before returning along the canal towpaths.
