This ride is a bit different to recent rides in this group. We start in Ashwell and head West.
We skirt the North of Letchworth and Hitchin and then go on to Pirton and Hexton. We will stop at Offley Hoo, where there is Lukes Patisserie and a cafe. The return is through Weston with an optional stop at Leavened (mentioned in Sarah's recent Facebook post).
It is an undulating route with one notable hill out of Hexton.

As this is a longer ride and may be warm, I've set the start time as 9am. This will be reviewed nearer the time. We will aim to ride at an average speed of about 13 mph.

Please remember all your usual gear including a helmet, water and sunscreen. You need to bring your own mechanical and medical kits too, just in case.
