Starting from - Parking can be found on the roads that run parallel to the train station at Ainsdale. So you can park on either Mossgiel Avenue or Chesterfield Road. Both are residential so drive down and find the on street parking.

We will meet outside Mecycles at 10am READY TO RIDE.
So I suggest you aim to arrive at least 9:45. Mecycles opens at 9am and is a cafe if you want to get there early and have a brew. PR8 3HH

This is a lovely 80% traffic free route. We start from Mecycles next to Ainsdale train station. Ride inland on mainly traffic free trails, a few minor roads. Then towards the coast. We will stop around the Marina area for something to eat, there are a few options at this location.

Next we make our way along to the Anthony Gormley statues - Another Place. If you haven't seen the Statues then you are in for a treat. This ride is specific time and date so the tide will be out when we get there, plenty of photo opportunities.

It's summer it's the seaside we won't be rushing average 7mph.

Bring money for lunch stop.
Spare innertube for your bike as they are all different.
Please make sure your bike is in good working order.
No helmet no ride.
Small bike lock for cafe stop.
