Come and join us on our annual chippy ride (new venue) in Lancashire. This is an almost circular ride where we will pass through local villages on two wheels in search of our early tea, Fish & Chips.

There are a couple of major and minor roads to cycle on, but also utilise many cycleways, shared paths, canal paths and bridleways. There are a couple of steady inclines but we need these to burn off the excess calories. If need be, you can always get off and push. As we do follow a number of trails, off road tyres are required. As always, the English weather is often unpredictable so please dress appropriately. It’s better to take layers off, then have none to put on if its chilly or wet! We are not fair weather cyclists! As always, a helmet is essential along with a spare inner tube, pump, lock etc but don't worry too much if you don't have the latter. Also as we will cycle on a couple of roads, please bring lights. Any questions please feel free to message us at [email protected] or through this page by pressing the contact ride creator button.

You will need to bring a decent lock, CASH ( chippy doesn’t take card) and bike lights along with the usual spares and repairs for your own bike. If the weather is kind, fingers crossed, we may even have an additional stop on the return leg at our local ice cream parlour ( for dessert!).
