Starting from Amersham, we will cycle on mainly quiet country roads to Chiltern Velo. We will stop at some poppy displays which are on our route.
This will be mainly along country roads but we will have to go along a few main roads but these are minimal. There are several hills on this ride and you will need a reasonable level of fitness but we never leave anyone behind.
Please wear a helmet, bring a spare inner tube and pump. Check your bike over in advance to make sure the brakes are working and tyres are pumped up!
As always, your bike must be in good working order, bring a spare inner tube and pump, working lights as well as money and lock for when we stop.
Checklist of things to bring:
Helmet
Mudguards (especially the rear wheel)
https://bit.ly/3BEhVSE - these are good mudguards

Pump/gas canister
Rainwear/gilet (worn or in your pocket/bike bag)
Layers are good for this time of the year

- Helmet
-Spare inner tubes for your bike and appropriate tools, even if you don't know how to change an inner tube there are other people in the group to help.
-A water bottle with a drink in, cycling can be thirsty work.
- Appropriate clothing for the weather.
You can contact the leader directly via the ‘Message Ride Creator’ tab in the ride posting on let’s ride unless you have their direct contact details already if you have any questions.
I would prefer it if you wore a cycle helmet.
