Starting point

Kent
ME7 2XH

The route starts from the Strand and head along the river and through the boat yard. The route then follows a cycle lane to the nearby roundabout. From here we negotiate the pedestrian crossing and follow the cycle path to the top of Ito way. The ride up can be challenging but we ask you to remember that it is all downhill on the way back.

The route leaves Riverside country parks and follows the river Medway all the way to the Strand. We then loop round and head back the way we come and then continue to re-trace the route. We then head up to the other end of the country park to a place called motley hill and then back to the start point.

Off road, 1 small section of 50metres on an industrial style road with very little traffic.

First-timers welcome!
