Ambleside to Iron Keld Ride with Kettle Crisps

The last time I done this ride I think was 2013 hence it being a Community Ride. Unfortunately, there is a section of main road involved. Wouldn’t class it as a technical ride but there is some climbing to be done which also means downhills.
From the start we head out Rydal Water and have a look at the caves. Then on to Elterwater via High Close. On to Little Langdale, on to High Ox Fell, always going towards Iron Keld.
From Iron Keld we head towards Low Arnside. Depending on how we feel, we can cross over the A593 going back towards Elterwater or we can turn right and head back to the cars via Clappersgate. Whichever way we go, Clappersgate will be involved at some stage which means the A593.
