The route will join cycle route 177 and leave Strood on the cycle lanes. We will then head to the hidden entrance of Shorne COuntry park and pick up a bridleway. We will then cross over the A2 to another bridleway and head towards Cobham. From here we head off road through the cow field on light mud towards Bligh way. The turning left to re- pick up the cycle lanes on the return to the Start point.

This ride is designed as an entry level ride into the local cycle trails. The route is aimed at anyone who has an okay ability in handling their bike on loose gravel, minor ruts and potentially some mud. Ideal for building up some fitness and having fun doing it.

Cycle lanes, cycle paths, gravel, loose gravel, one small section of road, mud

We will briefly stop at Shorne Country Park 3 miles in for a toilet stop

Helmets must be worn due to the nature of the ride. We will be passing through areas where you will have to lift your bike over a bridleway entrance about a foot off the floor and also through kissing gates (i.e. you need to hold the bike upright on the back wheel)

Off road.
