Starting point

Renfrewshire
G3 8RS

A circular ride on bike paths to visit the Titan Clydebank crane.
This ride is perfect for relaxing after a day of work or study, or for getting more confident on the bike on a route away from traffic.

The route is entirely on cycle paths, ideal for a relaxing ride. There are few little inclines along river Kelvin, the rest of the route is flat. Suitable for any kind of bike.

We'll ride through Kelvingrove Park, then along river Kelvin and Canal to Clydebank. Then, we'll head to the Clyde riverside and around the impressive Titan Clydebank crane. We'll return on cycle path NCN 7. We can take a short de-tour on the final bit and cross the new Govan-Partick Bridge!

We will have a break at the crane, however there will be no open cafes in the area at that time, so please bring your own snacks and plenty of water for the ride.

Bring a bike in working order. A helmet is highly recommended. I suggest to bring lights in case we'll be delayed (unlikely), but definitely if you will be cycling home after this ride.
