A simple route starting at Trencherfield Mill following the canal paths up to the top lock (quite a few little up sections) then onto the road up to Aspull for approx 1/2 mile. Return the same way and those up sections become down sections and we'll be back before you know it.

A canal route until the last 1/2 mile and we'll go on a wide main road to reach a warming coffee stop.

There are mainly canal paths and one busy main road to negotiate.

We will have a refreshment stop at Truly Scrumptious café in Aspull.

Helmets are advisable and please bring an inner tube and lock but don't let these bits put you off if you don't have them (we have spares). drinks for hydration as always.
