From Scotter we head down to Laughton Forest and onward to Morton and Gainsborough where we cross the Trent to Treswell before taking more country roads out to Retford. The return route heads to Dunham on Trent where we cross back over the river returning to Scotter via Torksey, Marton, Kexby and Corringham. N.B - the route may be completed in reverse, or subject to other change on the day dependent on weather and / or road conditions.

A road bike ride of 62 miles starting from the Green at Scotter. A mainly flat route stopping for refreshments after approximately 28 miles at The Bay Tree in Retford.

Mainly minor roads, with occasional need to cross or ride short distances on busier traffic routes.

Please check anticipated weather conditions and wear appropriate clothing, including helmet. Make sure your bike is in good working order and carry appropriate equipment to fix minor mechanical problems and punctures. Remember to carry cash/card for the cafe stop.
