This is a challenging ride but a friendly NON competitive one. No QOM/KOM. We are a 'ride social' group after all.

This circular route will see you cycling through a number of beautiful market towns. You will take in the stunning, breathtaking views of the South Lakes and its grand hills. The majority of the roads are quiet lanes but there are a number of farm lanes and bridleways linking the villages/towns so puncture repair kits must be carried.

There are two short rest stops planned. One in Kirkby Lonsdale and one in Sedburgh. As the cafes/tea rooms are only small, the group may need to split up and rejoin at a given time. It would be advisable to bring a sandwich as time at stops are limited (30-40 mins).

As always, no helmet no ride. YOU MUST carry your own inner tubes x 2 and repair kit. In addition, a chain link for your bike as we do cycle in some remote areas and shops are scarce and a considerable distance away. Please ensure your Emergency contact is aware of your location on the day. *** Electric road bikes are welcome on this ride but you must be courteous on climbs to avoid diminishing morale***
