Ride to Whistlestop

Starting from the Moredon Sporting Hub, we ride out alongside the cycle track towards Nova Hereod Academy and turn left to join up with the cycle path alongside Akers Way. We follow the cycle path as the road becomes Moredon Road then we head left into the estate to take us to Thamesdown Drive.

We ride under Thamesdown Way to ride the old road which is now a cycle path. This is a gentle climb up to the new area of Ridgeway Farm and then continue climbing on to Lydiard Millicent. From here we turn right to Purton and descend down Pavenhill.

Our ride continues on through the quieter roads to Charlton, Hankerton and Crudwell to arrive at Tetbury.

After a refreshing break in Tetbury we ride along the old railway line to the B4014 before turning left and riding back towards Charlton. After crossing the A429 we turn left a little later and pass through Hankerton and Upper Minety. Our cross country ride then brings us to Ashton Keynes, then onto Waterhay and Chelworth. From here we ride along the closed road to the large concrete blocks.

At the blocks we turn left and after crossing the heritage railway line, we turn right into the housing estate and then meander our way through the estate roads until we reach the Tawney Owl. We then ride on the cycle paths and head back to the Sporting Hub.
