3 Counties, Ferry (Train) and Train

As Secombe is still unavailable and the ferry to Woodside means a very late start I have changed this to use the train to Hamilton Square, the start is still at Woodside although earlier at 10.05.
You will need an all zone saveaway ticket for the train to Hamilton Square and the return from Chester. You will have to purchase it via a Merseytravel vendor (train station).
The ride will then commence from Woodside Ferry terminal (until October).
We will ride along the coast and join onto the Wirral Way down to Eastham and across to the Burton Greenway. We then use the highways, byeways and cycle paths alongside the Dee, calling at Net's cafe for lunch and then on into Chester, via the Burton Greenway, Deeside industrial estate and the Chester Greenway and maybe the canal into Chester.
The return will be via train from Chester Station.
We'll ride at a steady pace of 10 - 12 mph on this ride and we'll keep our pace at a level so that we can all stay together.
Remember, this is not a race, but a leisurely ride at a pace to suit the slowest in the group!
Please check your bike over the night before the ride, tyres inflated, all bolts tight, lubricated. Clothing, helmet & lights checked and ready. Please ensure you have a pump and a couple of spare tubes in case of punctures and a good secure lock.
