3 Counties, Ferry and Train (Ride Reversed)

Please note the later start time. This to allow for saveaway and passes for travel from Liverpool to Chester.

First & foremost, you will need an all- zone saveaway ticket. (Not the train version)
If you are travelling from outside the area, by car, I would advise parking on Sefton Street and riding to James Street station for the train to Chester. You can only purchase Merseytravel saveaway tickets from vendors within Merseyside, which includes train stations. (Note Ormskirk and Chester are not in Merseyside but are accessible with a saveaway ticket)
This ride is the complete reverse of the 3 counties ride.
So, commencing the ride at Chester Station, we will ride down to the river, through the race course then alongside the Dee to the Chester Greenway, through the industrial estate onto the Burton Greenway and Net's Cafe.
After lunch we will continue along the Burton Greenway and join the Wiiral Way. We will follow the Wirral Way to West Kirkby, then onto the Wirral Circular Route to Hoylake, through to New Brighton then a run down to Seacombe and the ferry to Liverpool.

This is the reverse to our normal 3 Counties Ferry & Train Ride

A good percentage of this route is on trail

Food stop is at the excellent Net's Cafe

Please check your bike over the night before the ride, tyres inflated, all bolts tight, lubricated. Clothing, Helmet & lights checked & ready. Please ensure you have a pump and a couple of spare tubes in case of punctures and a good secure lock.
