Starting point

Merseyside
CH44 6NR

We start at the Beatles Statues at Liverpool Pier Head. The Ferry leaves at 10.00 prompt. Not on time for the Ferry, no ride.
You will need an all zone saveaway ticket to ride the Ferry and you will have to purchase it via a Merseytravel vendor (train station). The Ferry office does sell Saveaway tickets, but you need to be there for opening at 9.30.
The ride will then commence from Seacombe Ferry terminal (Woodside until October). Join us at either venue.
We will ride along the coast and join onto the Wirral Way down to Little Neston. We then use the highways, byeways and cycle paths alongside the Dee, calling at Net's cafe for lunch and then on into Chester, via the Burton Greenway, Deeside industrial estate and the Chester greenway.
The return will be via train from Chester Station.
We'll ride at a steady pace of 10 - 12 mph on this ride and we'll keep our pace at a level so that we can all stay together.
Remember, this is not a race, but a leisurely ride at a pace to suit the slowest in the group!
Please check your bike over the night before the ride, tyres inflated, all bolts tight, lubricated. Clothing, helmet & lights checked and ready. Please ensure you have a pump and a couple of spare tubes in case of punctures and a good secure lock.
It would be great to have some new & some familiar faces on this ride, you're all welcome & I look forward to riding with you.
Please be at the start point at least 15 mins before the ride start time,(9.30) ready to ride, so that we are able to get away, on the Ferry, at the stated start time of 10.00. Remember you need a boarding pass to board the ferry.
