Antrobus Cyclists - Planes, runways and airports

A ride of about 30 miles from Antrobus Village hall out to North Warrington taking in local planes, runways and airports. We will head out past the Arley Air Strip, the old runway and then head towards North Warrington and then visit the Burtonwood Air museum, then stop for lunch at the Village Cafe nearby. We will return via the Bolt of Lightning. The ride is on a mixture of cycle paths, quiet country lanes, and some busier roads.

We will ride at an easy pace of about 10mph with short stops along the route, and make sure that no one is left behind.

You'll need a road worthy bike. Helmets are strongly recommended. We also recommend you bring a pump, spare inner tube or puncture repair kit and a lock. Please bring money for coffee breaks and lunch or your own drinks and snacks, if required. You will need CASH for the air museum.
