Join Judy and Claire for our mixed terrain ride to Rodley Nature Reserve. Although you can get a hot drink here, the cakes etc are limited, so I suggest bringing your own food.

Leaving Hirst Lock we will start out on the towpath before heading out of Shipley up the back road to Thackley and the woodland road back to the towpath. At Apperley Bridge will join the road up towards the station before turning onto Woodlands Drive and the quiet road leading to Knott Lane where we will make our way to the towpath and onwards to Rodley Nature Reserve. There are some cheeky climbs, short sections of busy road and it could be a bit muddy in places getting to our coffee stop. We will return to Saltaire on the towpath

You need a roadworthy bike, your own kit for minor repairs to both your bike and yourself. This should include a spare inner tube of the correct size. Wear appropriate clothes for the conditions (layers are best) and a helmet please if possible. Please bring a few pennies, or means of making contactless payments if needs be.

There may be an e-bike or two, but we still ride at the pace of the slowest, and no one will be left behind.
