Blackburn and District CTC

For the latest rides programme see the web site: www.blackburncycling.club Blackburn & District CTC was formed in 1923 with its roots in cycle touring. We meet every Sunday for full day rides exploring the lanes and countryside of North West England and further afield with some car assisted trips. Distances range from 50 to 80 miles and we take all day with cafe stops to make the rides enjoyable. Some of the summer runs can be longer and the winter runs tend to be shorter. We have time trials, criteriums, road races and hill climbs for those who like the challenge of racing and Youth Hostel trips for weekends away. During the winter months we have a weekly social programme to fill those dark nights. During the summer months, the first Sunday in the month is a shorter social ride for beginners at a slower pace and shorter distance.
