Take a trip on this great 9 mile bike ride that has so much to offer.  Starting in Vickerstown on Walney Island the route makes its way south to the South Walney Nature Reserve, Cumbria Wildlife Trust.  With stunning views across Morecambe bay, this shingle island reserve is full of interest and a fantastic place for spotting birds.

This route has been British Cycling assessed as an accessible route, meaning it is suitable for the majority of adaptive bikes. The route will have no or low levels of traffic, there will be plenty of space and will have a good surface throughout.
