The White Bear Ride

At just under 10 miles this scenic, circular route on traffic-free paths and suburban roads takes in some of the finest Kent and Surrey countryside with a great pub stop at the reputedly haunted 16th century White Bear Pub which gives the route its name. The White Bear is situated in the tiny hamlet of Fickleshole. Although just seven miles from Croydon, the hamlet is surrounded by a network of narrow lanes, originally designed for horses and carts, now ideal for cycling.
