This 7 and a half mile steady route explores the area around Thornton, birthplace of the Bronte sisters. Starting and finishing at Thornton Primary School, this scenic loop ride combines sections of the Great Northern Railway Trail (featuring the spectacular Thornton Viaduct) with quiet country roads. You too can be inspired by the scenery that captured the hearts of Anne, Charlotte and Emily Bronte. Your pedalling with be rewarded with fine views of the Warley and Thornton Moors, while Thornton itself retains a distinctive Pennine village feel. All this on the doorstep of metropolitan Bradford.
