Half Moon Cafe inside Roberts Park
A great, 21 mile hilly route, full of interest and set in the stunning Bronte Country to the north of Bradford. The route begins at the Half Moon cafe inside the scenic Roberts Park, travelling east as far as Esholt, the famous location for ITV drama Emmerdale Farm, before heading north to Guiseley. From Guiseley the route heads west on quiet roads flanking the famous Ilkley Moor, passing two reservoirs, before returning to Baildon via Eldwick. There are numerous stopping points and sights of interest on the way, most notably Shipley Glen with its 19th century cable tramway and Bracken Hall countryside centre near Baildon.
