Stamfordham Explorer

This is a 30 mile undulating route of some of the best road cycling surrounding Stamfordham. You get an instant feeling of being in the countryside and some of the most cycle friendly roads in the area. On some of these roads you may never pass a car but there are always lots of cyclists out for a ride!

There is a fantastic view of Simonside and the Cheviot Hills as a reward for a climbing a few gentle hills. The Raggy Heirlooms self-service cafe can be visited on both the outbound and return legs. It's a great, homely spot to refresh yourself with a cake and a brew.
