This is a great route that takes you from Rowntree Park in York to open country side by passing many local landmarks. The direction heads out of York passing the Knavesmire and travels into Bishopthorpe. The route is also educational as it teachs us about our solar system with its scale model of the planets and their distances from each other. This version of the route will take us as far as the planet Jupiter!
