Shaldon and The River Teign

Heading north out of Torquay you will skirt around Newton Abbot and Kingsteignton before starting one of two climbs up to Bishopsteignton, before descending into Shaldon.

Once you are over this final climb you will be rewarded with some well deserved freewheeling downhill all the way to the finish.  This is a great ride for less experienced riders to challenge themselves on in the company of other cyclists, the hills are tough but worth the effort.
