This route has everything! Canal tow paths, country lanes, some steady climbs (with a few tricky descents), a few minor B roads and cycle paths. The loop takes you from Bettws through the lanes to Caerleon. Sweeping left heading towards Usk you then cycle in the gorgeous countryside passing through Newbridge on Usk, cycling past the Celtic Manor resort (home of the Ryder Cup), through historic Caerleon ending with a scenic cycle track home.
