Portsmouth Watersports Centre

From the Water Sports Centre the route heads north up the Eastern Road to Farlington Marshes before joining the cycleway along the northern edge of Langstone Harbour which runs parallel to the A27.  There are some great views along here of the harbour and depending on the time of year you may see a large flock of geese on the nature reserve.  Continuing on the shared footpath through to Langstone Technology Park and into Havant town centre.  Avoid the cricket players hitting a six through Havant Park before passing the Havant railway station.  The majority of the route is along of the national cycle network and the traffic-free Billy Trail which is the disused railway line from Havant to Hayling Island.  There are some fantastic views across Langstone Harbour where the route picks up the quiet lanes around Northney before returning back.
