A flat route that starts at Urmston Leisure centre, before departing Trafford via Irlam Locks to the other side of the ship canal (into Salford and Cheshire) passing Irlam and Cadishead (using the cycle path on the side of the A57). The route returns to Trafford via Worthington bridge and onto Dunham Massey where a well deserved tea and cake stop can be had. The route then returns to the start passing by the Manchester United training complex.
