Explore the Backwaters around Keswick

Why not try this lovely route from the picturesque village of Threlkeld to Keswick and back passing by Wescoe, the small hamlet of Brundholme along the way.  This route makes the most of the beautiful quiet lanes in the area before you make your way back using the disused railway line which forms part of the spectacular Coast to Coast cycle route.  There are plenty of opportunities to take in the views and, as a well-earned treat, have some refreshments in the Threlkeld Village Hall Tearoom at the end.  

Please be aware there are some short but sharp hills on this route.
