This lovely, rural route passes through some of the countryside most associated with local poet John Clare. From suburban Peterborough you'll ride out to open countryside through the historic village of Glinton (mentioned in the Domesday Book). You'll pass over the John Clare Bridge and Nine Bridges before visiting the John Clare Centre at Helpston. Then it's on over the bridleway to Maxhams Green Cottage, eventually rejoining the suburbs on Lincoln Road and making your way back to the start point.
