Brassmill Lane

This is a short, easy, but very pleasant route along the River Avon.  The route is part of the National Cycle Network Route 4.  Starting from Brassmill, you will explore a small section of the old railway path that goes to Bristol before turning back and going past your start point.  After a very short section of quiet road you join the riverside path and make your way along the river, under a few bridges, whilst spotting lots of waterfowl along the way.  The ride turns round just opposite the Avon Street Car Park and re-traces its delightful route back to Brassmill.  Afterwards, those in need of refreshment can visit the Dolphin which always welcomes cyclists to its gardens.
