A twelve mile loop in South London on traffic-free paths and suburban roads taking you to one of British Cycling's history making venues, the evocative Herne Hill Velodrome. Situated in the London Borough of Southwark, Herne Hill is one of the world's oldest velodromes, built in 1891. Since those times it has been the epicentre of London track racing, staging the track cycling events of the 1948 Olympics and to this day, staging the famous Good Friday track meeting, which attracts the sport's top stars to compete on its 450 metres of banked concrete.
