Djanogly Community Leisure Centre
This route starts from Djanogly Community Leisure Centre, right next to the Forest REC Park n Ride. The route travels through quieter urban roads, before opening out onto beautiful quiet suburban roads leading to the picturesque grounds of Newstead Abbey and Gardens. Ancient trees, beautiful lawns and lakes are a wonderful reward. Cafe and visitor centre, and on the way back, the Griffin's Head in Papplewick provides a lovely stop for a possible pub lunch before the return to Nottingham.
