Yorkshire Sculpture Circular

This is a great 23 mile undulating route with a mixture of history, culture and beautiful views. Starting at Wakefield's inspiring new Hepworth gallery the route heads out to the world famous Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Along the way, the 13th Century Sandal Castle where the scene of some famous battles and rich in history is also visited. But that's not all; the route passes through some beautiful countryside and incorporates a couple of climbs to get some fabulous views of the area travelling mostly on country roads. So with a bit of history, culture and great scenery throughout, this really is a fantastic route!
